JUVENILE HERMANN’S TORTOISE

The Juvenile Hermann’s Tortoise is a great tortoise for beginning keepers. The Hermann’s Tortoise is a very hardy herbivore that doesn’t grow too large in size. Adults typically grow to be between 5 in. to 8 in. They are a very beautiful species. The Hermann’s Tortoise needs plenty of sun or other light, a nice place to bask and a cozy place for them to take refuge and relax. In their natural habitats they like to eat flowers and plant stalks. It’s best if you can mimic their natural diets for optimum health. These are great tortoises because of their hardiness and size.
