BABY HERMANN’S TORTOISE

Baby Hermann’s Tortoise Testudo hermanni Hermann’s Tortoises are beautiful tortoises that are great for beginning keepers. Hermann’s Tortoises stay fairly small and are hardy tortoises with a really friendly personality. They are herbivorous creatures in their natural habitats and enjoy wild flowers, leaves and plant stalks when out on their own. Hermann’s Tortoises can best become acquainted with environments that mimic their natural habitats – a great deal of light, vegetation, a place to bask and a nice place for the tortoise to take refuge and relax. Hermann’s Tortoises are great for beginning keepers because they do well on their own and the males can show aggression when in a community setting.
